Here's an annoying problem together.
I have an HP Pavilion laptop and have had sound issues recently. When I insert my headphones, my laptop gives the sound via headphones AND speakers which is very annoying. I can't select any other option in the settings. The only option is speakers / headphones (Realtek (R) Audio).
I would just like to have the sound ONLY on the headphones when I plug in the.
I did not have that before the last Windows 10 update…
Does anyone know a solution?
Moin Chaser147,
how do you connect the headphones to the laptop? Jack or USB?
I connect it by jack are normal headphones.
Can you choose the headphones as the default device?
No, unfortunately not, I've already checked if it would be possible somehow to do that. Have I asked on the Internet or if there was such a similar trap but have found nothing clever. It must be possible to keep headphones and speakers apart. Why do you make speakers and headphones together? I do not understand somehow…
Sounds like driver problems. Uninstall the current drivers and update them afterwards.
