The speakers on my laptop work perfectly, when I connect via AUX my headphones, the sound comes through the headphones, so far everything is fine.
However, if I turn the volume down to 0 and then raise it again, no sound comes out of the headphones.
If I unplug these then the sound comes back from the speakers as normal.
No matter what I do, the sound of the headphones always stays off as soon as I turn off the sound.
The only solution is to reboot the laptop.
What could be the reason for this?
Which setting do I have to change?
Incidentally, the problem occurs with all the headphones I own.
Laptop: Lenovo Windows 10
AUX is a connector designed to connect audio devices.
Generally, these are not intended to connect headphones. This is the audio out thought.
AUX are high level inputs / outputs. If you turn your headphones to 0, the resistance will increase. Right here is the disadvantage of the AUX, which then does not come from its performance (gives a minimum performance where he has to reach) and then it turns off.
By switching on / off, he realizes that he should be reactivated…
Try plugging your headphones into the audio out.
AUX Out s.PC is rather intended to "transmit" your PC to a stereo system and then send the active processing of the signals to your speakers of the stereo system.
