I have an HP laptop and I just noticed that it doesn't charge properly - when I plug in my charging cable, the blinker next to the charging connector lights up (red). For a short time my screen also shows that my laptop is charging. But a few seconds later the blinker will turn white and my computer will no longer indicate that it is charging. So my laptop switches between charging and not charging every few seconds. I don't think it's due to the cable because, as I said, the indicator lights up when plugged in (red and / and white) Is that normal or is there any loose connection on the laptop?
You can also replace the charging module inside the laptop. (Or whatever you call it!) Just where the electricity comes in.
Sounds like a defective battery. But what the Lappi shows and what happens in the end is not necessarily the same. Does the battery discharge over a longer period of time when the charging cable is connected?
I guess a defective battery or the plug is over from the power supply
No
If the battery did not discharge, I would leave the laptop as it is. If you now spend money on a new battery and in the end it wasn't that, you just get angry.
It is possible that the charging socket or the USB port is defective or no longer works properly - if you still have the option of a warranty / guarantee, I would make use of this.
