Only recently had the problem with my HP laptop that he indicated on boot "automatic repair is prepared" and then "disks are repaired, this process can take over an hour". When that was done, there was always a windows bluescreen with the error Bad_System_Config_Info and the whole thing started again. Then I reset the public transport and everything went fine again but today came a blue screen crash again with the error message UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXEPTION. Then I restarted it and it was short again. But then another blue screen came with the error CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. And when I wanted to restart it then stood by HP the message:
Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
Hard Disk (3F0)
then read on the hp support page bios update and then did that. But now there's THE SELECTED BOOT DEVICE FAILED at the start. PRESS ENTER TO CONTINUE.
Who knows what this may be or what I should do?
This BIOS message indicates that your hard disk is defective.
Also, the previously observed under Windows errors can (but do not have) indicate a defect of the hard disk.
Is it only full or safe with the bios message?
Well, the PC recognizes the hard drive, but it can't address. Theoretically, it could also be that only the Master Boot Record has been destroyed (this could possibly be remedied with the Windows repair function). However, that would not explain the previously observed under Windows errors. For me that looks very much like a broken record.
Ok, I'll let the pc check out by whom and explain it to Thanks in any case
It does not necessarily have to be broken. But it is probably not recognized correctly or not at all by the bios
It will probably already be detected, otherwise you would probably get another BIOS message ("no bootable device found" or something). But the access does not work then.
And what do you think? Do you think she is broken
