I installed SSD instead of old HDD. I put the old HDD at CD-ROM.
You can hear that it makes HDD sounds, but is not recognized by system.
Diskmgmt.msc does not even see the disk.
In the BIOS, the menu item is missing what the drives.
What could you do to make the HDD visible?
A friend recommended me to swap the location of both drives, but I do not want it because SSD will be system disk, and must sit at the fastest interface. And in addition, there are missing the holes for screws, and SSD will not sit there so tightly.

The last time I swapped hard drives, which admittedly was a few years ago, you had to jumpern.
That Next to the pins, where the hard disk connector is plugged in, there were 4 pins, on which a jumper had to be plugged - in each case differently, if the hard disk as master (= Systemdisk) or as Slave (each further hard disk) should be used.
Whether this is still the case with modern hard drives or whether it does not matter to the PCs today, who is master or slave, or whether somewhere on the board is a pin or switch, unfortunately I do not know.
Thank you. Now there's no such thing on SSD anymore
I had also rather thought of the old hard drive, which may still be in the "master" mode.
Thank you. I look now
