That says nothing. Good notebooks have technology (and software) built in, with which the notebook can be continuously connected to electricity. For example MacBooks. A permanently installed battery is no guarantee of this.

Mine has been on the charging power supply for 5 years. The battery performance has only decreased slightly. The whole thing has something to do with the charging electronics of the laptop. There are devices where the manufacturer installs a good charge controller and devices with 0 8 15 control.
