I ordered a notebook from amazon more than 1 month ago (not 2), but the notebook was only used a week ago. The problem is that it is very slow and has a very high cpu load. I'm sure something is wrong, so I want to give it back now. Now my questions are whether I can send the notebook back without the original packaging and what I can use now.
do I get my money back or just a new device
Yes, just talk to Amazon😂
I'm asking this question to the forum because someone may have had a similar incident. I already know that I should talk to Amazon.
What kind of cpu is in there and when is the pc at 100% take a look in the task manager. (Ask purely out of interest)
I mean that this is only possible within 30 days. It doesn't matter when the device was used. Open your orders and choose to return the item if the option is offered. You have nothing to lose, so just give it a try. However, you must first ensure that there's no longer any personal or confidential data on the device.
If you want to be on the safe side, contact Amazon beforehand. I think someone can be reached by chat and phone 24 hours a day. Here you come to the contact paths: https://www.amazon.de/...contact-us
And just mentioned by the way: I'm assuming that the device has a rather low-performance processor or that the device does not offer enough performance for your project. This can then also result in a high CPU load or, in some cases, a high load is not unusual. If you are not really familiar with hardware, then get advice beforehand when buying the next device.
So, you can try it of course, in the worst case it will likely be sent back to you.
You should possibly reinstall Windows beforehand, maybe that will fix the problem. It's best to write your processor in here, maybe it's actually just the hardware.
Otherwise just contact the support and ask, that's what they're there for.
I mean everything is jerky when I'm only on YouTube. Isn't that a guarantee case because it might have a defect?
What kind of hardware is installed? Or do you have a link to the device?
Amd A9 9420e radeon r5 is in the device manager. Alone when I'm on Google or in Windows Explorer it jumps to 90 to 100%
Amd a9- 9420e readon r5 is in the device manager
Yes, well, if you buy an Athlon, you can't help it anymore… As for your price budget, should I pick something good for you?
What is an athlon?
A9 is an athlon processor so amd Athlon 9. That is almost the lowest level, worst thing you can choose - well almost
Have an amd A9 9420e radeon r5.
I have a cpu utilization of 90 to 100% in Explorer or on chrome
Yes, the processor is no good. No wonder it hangs there quickly. As far as AMD is concerned, you should at least use a Ryzen 3 for notebooks. If so many devices for home office or homeschooling were not currently being bought, then one would find a device with such a processor in a price range of around 350 - 400 euro without any problems. This is still comparatively cheap for a laptop. Nevertheless, you would have significantly more power with it than with an A9-9420e. The Ryzen 3 3200U, for example, is built into some devices in the price range mentioned: https://technical.city/de/cpu/A9-9420e-vs-Ryzen-3-3200U
Take a look at the difference in performance. But at the moment, as I said, it is difficult to find what you are looking for or you have to dig a little deeper into your pocket.
Is it still normal to have a utilization of 90 to 100% in Windows Explorer?
How much did you pay for the device? Just ask out of interest.
If I declare it to be defective, I would get my money back, so would it come through? Because that's a different level of being slow (almost 100% only in windows explorer)
I think it was over 400 euro
Yes, with the processor I suppose please tell me how much money you have and what preferences you have. I'm happy to help… So whether the display should be large, etc…
Oh, yes, I have absolutely no idea about AMD, but after a short research it turns out that the processor is rather poor for use in 2021. I assume it was more of a budget notebook?
Would want a notebook that is good for surfing the Internet and for office work. Power is of course never bad ^^. The display should definitely be large, but it doesn't have to be huge. The keyboard can be illuminated, but is not mandatory! Preferably nice and thin and light. If it is a ssd hard drive for speed. (500gb to unlimited ^^). If it is possible with a cd drive (also blueray) usb slot is very important. Good cpu (don't know my way around)
price should be around 500-600 euro.
Should also have a full hd resolution
Without original packaging
Without the PC packaging? You can forget.
do I get my money back or just a new device
If you send it back like you describe here just an angry email.
According to countless customers and sellers, I don't need the original packaging.
Haha lol I got a laptop like this a year ago. Drives you have to buy an external one, I'll send you something. Would you pick it up too?
But maybe if no triple AAA games in 4k 4 because I already have a gaming pc ^^

HP 17-ca3658ng from 619.00 euro at idealo: https://static.apps.idealo.com/link/2SMrLHrPZwfnaqVv8
Take a look at that look for reviews on yt pay attention to the delivery date. The best thing to do is look for laptops with a ryzen 4500u, 4600u, 4700u, 5500u, 5700u, 5600u. These are recommended processors. Ram should be 16 GB. Display brightness at min 300 nits everything below is much too dark
Funny. But then it fits like that
Thank you first and what is the difference between the two notebooks?
https://www.saturn.de/...er-clickid
I think that's the best
So first the size clearly 15 vs 17 inches
3. 2 hard drives 1 ssd 1hdd
The 15 inch in this post is better but has a dark display
Unfortunately, it is too late on 09/21/21, so unfortunately much too late
The processor
What about the processor?
The athlon is the processor
