What to do if the internet is too slow and the provider apparently can't do anything?

I've been a satisfied customer at Unitymedia (now Vodafone) for many years, but meanwhile my mood is changing too. I recently ordered a new connection that gives me up to 1000 Mbit / s. In the contract I'm promised a minimum speed of 500 Mbit / s. Data volumes are unlimited. So now my problem: I have only had problems for weeks, a speed of fabulous 90 Mbit / s in download and 15 Mbit / s in upload (promised in the contract of at least 50 Mbit / s). I've already tried everything from restarting the router (I now do 3-4 times a day), updating drivers on the laptop, trying out different frequencies, with lan cable and Wi-Fi but there's no sign of any differences. The speed remains the same. I already talked to Vodafone myself, they only said that there was already a technician who couldn't do anything. Apparently a cable is damaged at the construction site in the neighboring property. Isn't it the supplier's job to fix it? What do you think I should do? Hire a lawyer who gives me the opportunity to get out of the contract? Or do you have an idea? You can see an example below.

It's been the same with me since Corona. Unitymedia and Vodafone are currently having problems. I also often have complete failures.

Because of the lawyer: I think it will go away. Hiring a lawyer would surely cost them more than it would save them.

I have good legal protection insurance where I don't have to pay anything for a lawyer. Are these problems only with Vodafone or with other providers? Do you know what?

I don't know anything about that. But when I recently looked at the news that was suggested on my cell phone, I only read it through Unitymedia or Vodafone.

Here is another link with which you can check the connection of others:
