I usually put my laptop to sleep (for convenience). This works a couple of times (the number varies) and then the Internet goes on strike for some reason, because no router reconect or the WLAN can be switched off, no idea, but no program can connect to the Internet even though the WLAN signal is full.
When I then shut down the laptop or restart, my entire taskbar is empty (all the symbols I put in are gone, including my sticky notes). No matter how often I restart in a "normal" way, it won't come back.
So far, to fix this error, only forced shutdown helped, I keep the power button pressed until it immediately switches off. When I THEN start up again everything is back to normal, even though data recovery has turned on.
Can someone get an idea of the behavior of my laptop and tell me how I can stop it?
So in your place I would check the hard drive and RAM. Normally the current state is stored on the hard drive in sleep mode and the computer is switched off (except for power for the disk)
If you then press the power button, the entire snapshot, including all the programs, is concentrated in the RAM and the computer starts where you left off.
My guess is a broken RAM bar or a defective area on the hard drive (if you have installed an SMS) it is probably more the RAM.
It would be interesting to take a few pictures from the task manager immediately after getting out of sleep mode if RAM or disk show 100% you can quickly isolate the error.
Step 1: Open the registry editor by typing regedit in the search field of the start menu.
Step 2: Go to the following command in the left pane.
Computer \ HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
Then double-click the NoClose entry in the right pane.
Step 3: Change the value data from 1 to 0 and click on OK.
Step 4: Close the registry editor. Log out and back in for the changes to take effect. If you click the button in the Start menu after logging on to Windows 10, the options hibernate, shutdown and restart are displayed.
