When I start my laptop with the battery, everything runs normally. However, when I plug in the power adapter, it crashes immediately. But in the bios i can connect the power supply n nothing happens, so i suspect a bios software error. What do you all mean?
Can also be a problem with the charging electronics or the power supply. Unfortunately, they both like to break. In the BIOS it is easier to charge the battery AND to supply the device with power. The laptop draws a lot of power during the boot process - together with battery charging, this could overwhelm the control of the charging electronics or the power supply. A so-called creeping wear. Electronics do not always break completely immediately.
Power pack would be easy to replace, the charging electronics can usually not be replaced by yourself. You have to contact the manufacturer for repair or if necessary. Switch to a new laptop if you don't want to live with the error.
