I was recently allowed by the headmaster to use an electronic device of my choice to take notes for the next school year.
Since my advanced courses are math, physics and English, a laptop did not seem conclusive to me, and I tend to use an iPad.
However, the question arises whether the change is worthwhile at all?
Of course, on the one hand the satchel would be a lot easier (and it would not be so difficult for me to organize), but also my wallet.
I plan to continue using it at least definitely at the university.
Is it worth it for me? Or should I stick to Leitz folders? What are "perks" that the writing down with the iPad has?
A good Windows notebook is definitely conclusive, especially for math and physics. A lot more afterwards at the university.
You need good keyboard, battery and power - check out a ThinkPad. These are computers to work with, not tablets.
Even if it sounds good, I wouldn't think it would be worth it. I personally used an iPad Pro at school / high school but only because I was in the iPad class. So if you work with paper and notes regularly, I would leave it at that.
the iPad is only worthwhile in my opinion if you all get the notes digitally. The effort otherwise to scan and sort everything is otherwise too exhausting
If you want to use it for the university later, then yes, but if it really is only for high school then rather not…
I thought a tablet would be better because the whole formulas on the PC can only be presented with great difficulty? Due to exponents etc.
Thank you. Yes, I just thought organizing would be easier and I would always have everything with me
Probably wants to study law, I assume a lot is written there?
If the money was enough I would do it.
Thank you, yes that would be my birthday Christmas present. I have nothing else that I would otherwise like except a new cell phone. But a tablet would probably make more sense because cell phones are only for social media etc.
Joa agrees.
So you can organize yourself. Only I personally find that this works quite well with a folder where you have everything with you. If you buy the iPad for this, you have to be consistent. So not even so, because it can get complicated and confusing
