I bought a laptop at Media Markt 3 months ago for 450 euro.
After a while after I bought the product, there were reviews that you got a used product.
Since I had the same signs of this, I checked my laptop and found that it was already in use in 2019.
Can I still return the product or make a complaint after 3 months?
Yes, you can, if that is the case and they sold it to you as new, you can.
But that will be a stock item, it is new, just not up to date.
What signs did you find that this was in operation in 2019?
Recorded error messages when starting the laptop and when the device was started / set up for the first time.
Are you already aware that such a Windows image that is preinstalled including drivers etc. Has to be created? Log files are also created there. If there was already a user account on it, that would be different. But if you use a computer and reset it to the factory settings or to the delivery image, all error logs written up to that point are also deleted and only those that are available from the image creation appear. So this is not proof, but normal for it to be so.
After all, all the data is already on the hard drive when you buy it, because the hard drive is recorded in advance with an image created for the model. So from then on the date and time of log files and files are already available that carry the creation date for the image…
