After a new defect has been repaired, are you entitled to warranty protection for a repair?

The laptop broke 6 months after purchase, I told the dealer, but the dealer said that it doesn't have to be a defect and installed new drivers. When that was of no use, the retailer set up the operating system again, and that did not improve either.

I then sent the device directly to the manufacturer who exchanged an LED cable because of the guarantee. The device ran again without problems for three weeks, now after three weeks I can no longer open any pictures and at the start the complete line breaks down every time (WLAN, DSL and telephony).

Working with this device is no longer possible. Even replacing the router does nothing and the line is otherwise stable, even if I have three devices on at the same time and make calls at the same time.

I spent almost 1000 euro for the device, neither the dealer nor the manufacturer are ready to do it again after the repairs, I should pay everything myself.

Are you not entitled to a complaint guarantee?

Contact the local consumer center and get advice.

Unfortunately there's none here, that is 60 km from here and I don't have a car

Then contact the federal arbitration board.

The guarantee is a voluntary service provided by the manufacturer, you have no legal claim to it, and since you have this repaired directly through the manufacturer, you no longer have any warranty claims against the dealer.

What is the manufacturer's warranty for the laptop?

Am

Thanks I will do that!

During the warranty period, the dealer did not want to open the device, so it went to the manufacturer. Now all warranty claims should suddenly be lost. There's a 2 year warranty on the device, but it broke after only 6 months. I bought it in December 2018

The dealer will now refer to this

A new warranty period of two years applies to new electrical devices. This means that the manufacturer basically has to vouch for defects in the electrical device for two years.

Like every law, there's also a big "but" here. The warranty is valid for two years, but the so-called reversal of the burden of proof comes into force after only six months. The reversal of the burden of proof means that you have to prove to the dealer that the defect already existed when the product was purchased.

As long as no six months have passed between the purchase of the product, the occurrence of the defect and the first subsequent contact with the dealer, the warranty applies. Up to a time window of six months, this is the better choice because you are legally better off here.

If the manufacturer gives a 2-year guarantee and the defect is not due to the reasons for exclusion, then the manufacturer must also provide the performance that he specified in his guarantee conditions.

Assuming that the dealer warranty is still valid, 3 attempts to repair have already failed. You should insist on taking the device back. Do you have legal expenses insurance? You'll need it.
