I just want to take up lectures. Bad picture quality and fps is ez.
Both obs don't work for me, iwie can't record the screen on the laptop (yes, I know how to do it, it doesn't work on the other laptop either, but here).
Bandicam can capture the screen but only 10 minutes
Is that why it's a chill alternative?
What kind of laptop or computer do you have?
At OBS you can set the quality higher.
Look here:
As an encoder you should (if you have an nVidia graphics card) use NVenc.
You can also record via the gamebar (accessible in the game via Windows + G).
If your laptop has a dedicated graphics chip then switching between the Intel HD and the "high-performance graphics unit" can lead to problems. In Windows 10 you then have to assign obs and the program you want to record to the same graphics chip. Then it works with the record.
With OBS you can set higher quality and higher FPS. Only you have to look into the setting.
If the OBS recording is still lagging despite the high FPS, then your laptop is just not powerful enough and other recording software would not help you much. Because OBS is the only recording software for my computer that works reliably and well when recording. With many other recording software you often have the problem that the video and audio does not work well in synchro (for example, recording software from Apowersoft which also costs money).
