I thought about installing Linux on my laptop.
Do you know a site that explains this great (and easy for noobs)?
I would also like to use TOR on it and would be happy if someone had a good OPSEC setup idea on how to set it up.
Or would you recommend a Virtualbox that I can run on my external hard drive?

You can also install the gate browser, which is offered in the repos. This is a fumbled FF, works well, doesn't look particularly nice.
Wiki.ubuntuusers.de, whenever a problem with Linux hardware or software arises, even if you are installing Linux for the first time, this is the best site I know.
