My plug-in socket crackles sometimes and then stops as quickly as it started and then it doesn't happen for weeks or days, all I have to do is plug in my laptop or my mobile phone to charge.
I'm not the expert on that but be careful. Do you have standard safety sockets?
I had an old socket on fire 2 years ago. In the early night and if my dog hadn't woken me up…
E.g. Dust can collect there
Nice day
That doesn't sound that good.
Just ask the electrician friend in the neighborhood if he'll have a look!
From corroded contact springs to loose screws to misperception, a lot is possible.
That is certainly not so good, because normally, you shouldn't hear sockets. Maybe you can call an electrician and have a look at it or swap it for a new one!
Crackling is a warning signal for me that something is wrong with the socket.
Not that what is already black because it has heated up too much.
Please take a closer look or have an electrician look at it. Possible fire hazard
Everything is supposed to be in order with the can, my father had the can outside and tested it, there was no defect.
A crackling plug is just like a dripping car or a pain in the foot…
a specialist has to look closely! Before something worse happens.
Is your father an electrician?
