Question about the laptop microphone?

When I talk in the TS, Discord or in the voice recorder the volume went down as I spoke, from 100% to 10-20% so that you don't understand anything. That's why my laptop was sent in. The manufacturer says the problem has been fixed and the function test was ok.

Now it is when I talk in one go, the volume goes down as I speak from 100% to 40-50%. So it got better but still there. I have already set the microphone sensitivity to Max in the options.

Does anyone of you have an idea how I can fix the problem?

Have you ever checked the sound settings in the control panel?

St

Well, what can you look up to see what has to do with the microphone, apart from the microphone amplifier and microphone volume?

St

I have both, I can do upstairs, I don't get anything.

ge

OK. I can't help much now. But maybe you can contact Microsoft Support tomorrow. Isn't the best solution but maybe it will get you there. LG.

St

Thank you.

ge

With pleasure. See you!

Is the system volume going down to 50%?
Or just the volume of the microphone?

St

What does the system volume have to do with it? That's the sound because I hear, isn't it? To my knowledge, neither of the two. I have set the microphone sensitivity to the maximum.

I read here from someone whose system volume goes up to 50% as soon as they speak into the microphone. Nobody could help him there. Fortunately, this is not the case with you otherwise I could not help you either.

Have you ever checked whether you have an automatic system somewhere that automatically adjusts the volume? Some programs have built something like this. If you have one of them running, it could be because of it

St

No. Under -sound, recording, microphone carry, properties, level, I have the volume and the amplifier. If I do both at the maximum position, others will hear the ventilation, so I have volume at 100 and amplifier at 20.0 dB. Still, I'm normal sometimes and then quiet again.

St

Nothing changes while talking.

Nothing changes there either. If you had such a program, only something changes in the program.
Have you ever tried another mic?

St

Everything works with another mic. Headset.

Then it can only be your micro or something between the micro and PC. Maybe the mic is just broken?

Or do you have a condenser microphone and the device with which you feed the phantom power may be broken?

St

Unfortunately I do not know it. The Acer technician wrote that the function test was ok after the new installation. But it just doesn't work. I think I'll take the part back to Expert.

St

Thank you.

I forgot that it is an internal microphone. I answer too many different questions at once sry.

An internal microphone is of course not a condenser microphone. That would not fit.

Bring the part back to expert and read through § 439 BGB and § 440 sentence 2 BGB. The latter is particularly interesting for you.

If the repair fails, you can request a new device. Tell them the best thing before the repair and mention the laws, then it comes across as if you know your way around and they will certainly make an extra effort.

If you have any questions about the law, let me know. I had to learn all of them, so I know what is sometimes very practical.

St

Nice thank you.

Say, I still have an old laptop and I have the problem that the microphone records sound. Do you know how to fix that?
