Since GTA V was free at Epic Games, I also got the game once. Unfortunately it doesn't start if my PC should be good enough. (my boyfriend did too and he had an even worse laptop)
Here's what I've already done:
Placed the "GTAV.HeapAdjuster.asi" file in the "C: \ Program Files \ Epic Games \ GTAV" folder
Place the "PackfileLimitAdjuster.asi" file in the "C: \ Program Files \ Epic Games \ GTAV" folder
Place the "PackfileLimitAdjuster.ini" file in the "C: \ Program Files \ Epic Games \ GTAV" folder
Restarted my PC
The game started in Safe Mode
PS: I have the top three tips with the mods:
My computer properties:
Geforce GTX 970 with 4 GB Ram
Intel i5 - 4590
12 GB DDR3 Ram
319 GB free HDD space
Currently no Nvidia graphics driver (only the Intel graphics driver)
More information when starting
CPU was between 50 and 80 percent
GPU was at max 30 percent
Disk was between 50 and 90 percent
RAM constant at around 65 percent (possibly fluctuating)
Now a clear question: What can I do?

You have too little RAM memory, if you have a pc I would recommend building at least 8 gb because for every normal game (Fortnite, pubg etc.) you need at least 8 gb and are not very expensive if you add another 4 gb RAM then you can get them easily for under 40 euro
I have 12 GB DDR3 Ram?!
Achso overlooked sorry then I unfortunately do not know you can try on the library and then on the 3 points and then on verification then it checks everything
