Internet problems pc?

I always have internet problems (Wi-Fi) on my laptop. (Win 10) For example, I can go to the google browser. Also looking for something. (It also shows me all the pages) but when I want to click on a page it loads and writes that no connection is possible. I can't use apps like spotify either. I have therefore reset my network settings. That helped at first, but when I came back after an hour, it didn't work again.

Reinstall Windows would be the easiest solution, you don't need a CD.

Reset Windows 10 and keep your own files

Click under Start> Settings> Update and Security> Recovery. In the right column under the heading Reset this PC, click on the Let's go button. A window opens with the options Keep my files and Remove everything

Si

How is the Wi-Fi reception?

Is the distance small or large? What kind of router do you have and what kind of PC.

Manual settings may help.

I would reset Win 10 only with Recovery DC and full backup.

And that would be my very last option.

I prefer Linux and Mac OSX and still I wouldn't treat the OS like that.

Pr

Ok thanks, I'll try it out

Pr

The distance is a little bigger. However, I still have 2/3 bars full. Router: Fritzbox 7430 AO.
laptop: medion akoya s15447

Aw

I would ONLY reset the browser first, try another one

Google is not a browser, but a search engine! Look what you click on. To open it.

Oh and I just found the following in the control panel:

Status of WLAN: then it shows me all and there's no internal access under IPv4 connectivity

maybe that's helpful

Örks! You don't reset your computer for a problem to be looked for on the Internet. 🤦♂️

On the surface, this sounds like problems with the DNS server.

As a first test, you could set the DSN server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and check whether it works.

Si

First I would set the output power to always high in the configuration, if the Fritzbox no longer sends with a large signal, the connection could break.

Next I would check the settings. And compare.

The person asking the question reported that this problem had already occurred once and could only be temporarily solved by resetting the WLAN driver.

If you reset Windows, you can rule out software technical problems should the WLAN problem still exist.

In addition, as I explained to her, she can keep her personal data.

ta

By resetting the WLAN driver.

Nice example that you are not reading carefully: He has reset the network settings. There was never any talk of drivers.

Apart from that, only laypeople recommend resetting Windows.
Something that is usually never really necessary.

I'm not a layperson, especially when problems recur, resetting the operating system is usually the fastest solution, because otherwise, depending on the problem, you have to spend hours looking for the reason before you can look for a suitable solution.

in Windows 10, resetting is simple, you don't need a CD and you can keep your own files if you choose to do so.

Especially for people who only know how their end device goes on and off, it is better to tell them to reset their operating system, as this will most likely remove installed malware at the same time.

Pr

No it still doesn't work

You are contradicting yourself massively right now.
If you have to search for hours for such a problem, then you can't be a "no layman". But on the contrary.

ta

OK. - What a shame, that would have been the simple problem.

Have you tested the story with another device?
So we can find out whether it's the laptop or the network.

A problem can have thousands of causes, which is exactly why you have to look for the exact cause of the problem for hours (especially if you don't have any error messages) because other measures, such as resetting the network settings, only temporarily or even remove the problem does not solve.

Even community experts from gute frage often recommend resetting the operating system, since the people who ask such questions can't carry out complicated solutions.

Of course there are better solutions, but as I said in my first article, resetting the operating system is the easiest and fastest solution
