I wanted to reset my 2 year old laptop and suddenly this appeared in the picture after booting up.
Did the laptop boot at all or did the blue screen come on immediately?
Shut down, did something and it showed up after booting up.
Stall, try again.
What exactly do you mean by stall?
This looks like either a partition or a hard drive problem.
There's a video on YouTube with which you can fix the problem. That could help you too
Long press the power button until the laptop is off, then let it boot up again.
I've tried many times. It does not work.
Maybe that will help.
Remote diagnosis is relatively difficult to make. It could be that an update was badly installed. There could also be a problem with the power adapter or battery.
But since you write that the laptop did something I think that a problem occurred during the update. You would have to start it now in safe mode and quasi cancel the last update.
This mode is usually called up by pressing "Ctrl" and simultaneously clicking on shutdown. You can also call this mode when booting up (I think you had to hold down "Ctrl + Alt + Del" while booting up) there was a function called undo last update or something like that.
