My cell phone's memory is full. I would like to transfer large video and image files from my cell phone to my laptop. Connect the cell phone with the cable to the laptop and then the cell phone will only be recognized as a camera and not as a cell phone. So I can't select any files. How can that be?
It is an S7 and I tried two laptops. The same problem with both. Do I have to change a setting?
I'm very grateful for any help from you.
Have you ever changed the cable?
Or is the cell phone charging when it is connected to the laptop?
Just copy that onto your Google Drive on your phone. Then delete that on the phone.
Then I recommend installing this on the laptop: https://www.raidrive.com/ This allows you to set up Google Drive under Windows as the drive letter. Then you can copy it from Google Drive to the laptop using drag & drop.
So you don't need a cable.
Cell phone charges. Actually, it can't be the cable. Is there a setting on the cell phone that it can't be found.
When you connect the smartphone, you normally get a query from the Android on the smartphone's display whether you want to use it as a USB mass storage device or camera, so you have to choose the right one.
Is there a query on the part of the cell phone whether the laptop can access the cell phone? The cell phone must also be unlocked
