I bought a FreeDOS laptop, which I then made Windows 10 for. Since I was having problems with that, for whatever reason, I have no desire and idea to add Windows again. If I reset my laptop now, what's needed, is Windows 10 gone too?
No, only if you delete the partitions… So it's best to delete all partitions.
If the manufacturer has set up a recovery partition with FreeDOS, everything is gone, even Windows, yes. But it is extremely unlikely.
I want to keep Windows, so I keep the partitions, too?
Say I can easily reset the PC, and with bad luck, Windows is gone?
If you use the reset function within Windows, Windows will remain.
Resetting means restoring the original state, and that would not be very wise.
Repairing Windows is possible with the help of the DVD.
However, if you do not know where the problems are coming from, it may be that the NB does not run better.
If you do not have much idea, I guess it might be more of a driver problem
Many Thanks
Yes. I've changed many settings to get more out of it. Now I have stupidly changed my drivers and graphics cards, so I can't install my drivers anymore, and the card is no longer recognized. I thought a reset would be the easiest way out, since I've been sitting there for days, and come to no result.
Then you have to keep the partitions.
What is the purpose of having 2 x Windows 10?
