How can I get the cheapest short on the Internet in case of power failure or defective router?

It happens again and again that you can spend hours (power failure) or days (waiting for new router) can't enter the network, but you want to retrieve short mails etc.

So it would only be a few minutes with little MB about 1-2 times a year or just every few years needed.

Is there a possibility, e.g. Per Surfstick o.Ä., where you do not have to pay 2-3 euro for the whole day, although only 5 minutes. Purely want?

PS: I do not have a smartphone, so it would only work on the laptop.

Then you put your tow top under your arm - in almost every department store you have a free Wi-Fi access. And it costs you nothing except the effort.

Or you buy yourself a Wlanstick

You can use the mobile internet of a smartphone or there are also public places like libraries where you can get an Internet-enabled PC.

There used to be something like pay-per-dial. It was expensive per minute, but you could use it when you needed it…

There are also surf sticks, which are connected via USB to the PC. These then use the mobile Internet. So a surfstick including mobile contract you get, for example. At Aldi.

A surf stick is available from Aldi, Lidl, Tschibo.

Do not cost the world and most of the time you have a starting balance on it.

Do you live in a multiple dwelling most have an I connection, ideally from different providers. And all at once will not have a failure.

Of course, power failure occurs. Especially during thunderstorms. And with us it always took 3 days until the router was there + connecting, where problems can occur. : /

As I said, I wanted to avoid the 2-3 euro yes, but apparently there's only the solution…
