How do I delete the AVI file?

I have a 6GB AVI file on my laptop that simply can't be deleted. And every time I try to rename it, Explorer crashes, so you really can't do anything with it

Try safe mode. But first I would look for the cause. Some program also seems to access it. Any media player? Is there anything about it in the auto start?
