I have now managed to transfer the videos from the camcorder to the laptop. However, they are all toneless. The files are all called IMAG [number] .AVI and the picture works, the sound doesn't. I turned up the sound on the laptop, as well as in the playback program, but everything is soundless. I can't find the soundtrack in any other folder either. Does it change when I convert the AVI files to mp4? Or what can i do?

Yes, the videos are played back normally with sound on the CC.
Just try it out to see if you can hear something on MP4. Otherwise I would look at YouTube, how to transfer videos from your camcorder to the PC or LT. There are sure to be tutorials.
The only problem is with the player, try the VLC player, it can play everything.
Right, it works with that. Apparently my player is lost.
