I'm looking for a security camera?

I'm moving in with my boyfriend in 2 months and we wanted to fix a safety lamp in the garden (terrace). However, neither of us really have experience with it and we don't want to buy something that costs a lot and is not really good.
And it is not important that it moves, it should only be able to record well during the day and night. And are there cameras that save the recordings externally? E.g. On the laptop, because we don't always want to take the camera off to take out the memory card.

We thought of such a simple one. Does anyone know their way around here and can advise us a bit? Or. Has a little experience in this area.

I have a Lupus camera. This saves the recordings on a shared drive on my network. I don't have a memory card at all. The camera can also use Wi-Fi, but needs a power cable.

I find the blink cameras from Amazon interesting. They are really good (a friend has them), but they save the recordings in an Amazon cloud (free for Blink buyers). If that's what you want, they're great. And they work with normal batteries.

As far as I know, there are also some with solar panels, which may be interesting if you don't have a power outlet nearby. But be careful: not all of them can put recordings on a computer - some models only work with an SD card.
