Laptop with NVIDIA 1050, i5 7300 HQ, 8GB RAM.
I forced Vsync under the NVIDiA settings because the game does not provide that. With or without, makes no difference.
Every now and then there's a short falter. Intuitively I would say that something is being reloaded. Often synonymous image errors that I can't really describe. I would almost say that it looks like parts of the picture are a bit short in the wrong place. In villages it is stronger. Only if I move or tilt the camera. At least it just struck me there.
Frames vary somewhere between 60 and 80.
SSD or HDD?
Both. Windows on SSD and the game on HDD.
I'm not sure where I installed the Steam client.
If the game is installed on the HDD, I would first guess that it is because… Is the HDD already older?
Is a laptop from last year. Did not change the hardware. In fact, it's even a gaming laptop. Even if the lowest level.
In a laptop is both a HDD and SSD installed? Which laptop is that exactly?
What you perceive as jerky sounds like "screen-tearing", which happens when there are more pictures than the screen can show.
Go into the graphics options and activate V-Sync. Then your frame rate should stay at 60 (at 60hz screen) and stop ripping
Do you actually use the Nvidia graphics or Intel graphics?
60FPS are very low, especially without vsync.
Something like that came to my mind. That's why I activated Vsync in the Nvidia settings. More accurate:
Nvidia system control / Manage 3D Settings / Program Settings… And there the Wichtcher. Exe selected and activated in the settings V sync.
But brings nothing or only a little.
Jo… HP 15-CE031NG Belongs to the Omen series
I also thought that it is very little for such an old game. Have also suspected that it draws so little power that the Nvidia chip does not start.
According to tskmanager, the Nvidia chip is definitely on the way. More than the integrated Intel graphics. Would also air up.
Wichter 3 is better in the rest.
