Run Windows 10 twice on a PC?

I would like to play a game with my girlfriend. However, my laptop is too weak, so it overheats after 10 minutes. My hardware in the PC should theoretically be strong enough to play the game twice at the same time. I've already considered whether you can open a second desktop and simply assign your own mouse or keyboard or if I simply expand the hard drive from the laptop and install it in the PC and start Windows twice and share the two hardware systems. Is there any solution or program?

Unfortunately it does not work. Except virtual over the internet, but that costs monthly.

Come on the game.

If you mean by now that one and the same Windows with the same license key on two different computers to run is unfortunately not. Since Windows notices which hardware is installed in the laptop / PC, this does not work with the removal and installation of the hard drive.

And as far as I know you can't synonymous 2 mice to connect to the computer because you have only one mouse pointer. Say you would steer with the two mice and the same mouse pointer.

And with the keyboard, I can't say with certainty, if that would work. But I do not, because the external keyboard you connect yes replaced the internal. At least that's the case with computers where the internal system is defective.

Hope could help.

To put it simply - no.

What helps to prevent overheating on laptops is regular vacuuming of the air ducts and heat exchangers. This also promotes performance because hot systems are downscaled.

This is not difficult, but requires a bit of know how. Meanwhile, there are numerous videos in which the opening and cleaning is shown.

Attention: As always I point out with such hints that in this case you can't damage you, but your laptop if you approach grossly motoric, ignorant or simply totally ignorant to the thing.

You could virtualize a Windows PC.

Why on the internet? You can also virtualize other operating systems on the home PC.
