Can that cause a short circuit or something? I already happened a few days ago, until now everything is running normally, except that the finger sensor always flashes red again.

If it bothers you very much then put the laptop on the heater for about 5-6 hours, but do not use it in time. Heating best to medium setting then the water should evaporate.
