Wi-Fi password laptop?

I have changed my Wi-Fi password and if I now go to the Wi-Fi icon on my computer, then it is there, whether connect automatically or not, that there's a problem and I can't be connected, but I'm not given the opportunity to enter my password. Does anyone know how I can do that?
