My laptop (from Terra) has no external defects except slight scratches. You can do everything with it as a DVD, go on the Internet, connect usb and hdmi, write documents etc. The stupid thing is that a usb compartment is pressed inwards. You can still connect a cable to it. And the connections for microphones and headphones are also pressed in. You can still connect to there, but has a slight loose contact. But still works. And then there's the reason why I had to buy a new one and why I want to sell it here: sometimes it just goes by itself without warning. No matter if you are working on it or if it is even closed. It can no longer be switched on correctly. To switch on, you have to remove the charging cable and plug the battery out and in again. When the screen is open and you insert the battery, it goes on by itself without having to press anything. Sometimes it comes on when the screen is open and you simply plug the charging cable into the laptop.
YES my laptop is more or less junk but as I said the essential things can still be done.
it is clear to me that I can't sell this laptop for more than 100 euro, but I would offer a second battery, which is probably defective, do not know, the charging cable and a laptop bag.
there are sometimes people who buy defective or partially defective electronics and then use the individual parts or something. So I don't want to throw this laptop away and I also urgently need the money that I had to spend on the new one.
So: can I offer this for sale on eBay and how much can I still ask for? Would say 80 euro. And can I still say "partial defect" or all of these defects, but the laptop is still working as described.
You can offer that. But definitely declare it as defective goods. Then describe the errors in the text.
With "goes out again and again" I would not speak of "partial defect".
How much you get or will be able to get for this can only be reasonably guessed if you also know the technical data of the laptop.
In the best case, this is hobby goods and anything but "defect" would only bring you trouble here. 80 euro is far too much for such a crutch, expect a quarter to maybe! Half of it. Start with one euro and be grateful for what someone pays and that you don't have to dispose of the crutch yourself. A "probably defective battery" is now no real incentive to buy, I would offer the laptop bag separately. And to be honest: the few euro you earn here shouldn't have a major impact on your purchasing power - buy a decent laptop (I recommend HP)
Just write the defects clearly in the description.
Of course, you could also ask at an electronics store nearby. Maybe you can overhaul it and sell it as an office computer.
Contrary to your statement, the device has very significant defects!
You should describe each one in detail and in detail and document it with an article photo.
My advice:
If you can't fix the defects yourself before selling, you should offer the box as a "hobbyist device" or "spare part carrier".
Read the eBay principles on the subject of "item description" and "condition description" well.
This may save a lot of trouble and a lot of money.
