Sound off the laptop?

Hi, I was just about to start homeschooling, but suddenly I can't hear anything, not with headphones. But I can't make it loud without headphones because I'm not alone. This is very annoying, and I'm a nut to the computer, can someone help me quickly, please?

If the cross is white, then only the sound is muted.
