So, I recently played a round of Minecraft on my laptop. Everything was normal until I saved the game and wanted to go back to my desktop. There I was greeted by nothing but black emptiness. My cursor was still there, but no app and nothing else. I could still open the task manager as usual, but that was it. After the restart everything was completely normal. Does anyone know what that could be?

It appears your explorer.exe has ended. To fix the error, you can also start explorer.exe manually in the Task Manager under Run. Alternatively, you can also log out and log in again.
Unfortunately I don't know why your Explorer was closed. Can have several causes.
