Does a notebook need more processing power or RAM when connecting a 4K monitor?

I have a Surface Pro 4 with average equipment. Now I've connected a WQHD monitor which I think is too pixelated (as a surface user is spoiled with the screen). That has everything worked out great - but now I would like to connect a 4K monitor. Does my Surface need more computing power or RAM for this? Can it be that the surface slows down - after all, the high resolution has to be calculated? Since I have only 4 GB of RAM, it could be scarce. Please give me an answer.

It requires more graphics power from the Surface. But as long as you do not zockst the surface with documents, etc., this should not be a problem.

Ah ok - no gambling is not gambling and would not really be possible.

For a higher monitor resolution more computing power is needed.

The iGPU of the Intel processors, however, is able to supply 4k devices.
