My notebook is being repaired and a friend wanted to lend me everything McBook Pro. It's from 2012/13. I have an iPhone 8, it's older too, but everything is still supported. Is that the same with the McBooks? Or maybe a few programs no longer work on it?

No. If you don't know if they'll run on THIS older device, then you don't need to bother to write an "answer". Many people understand "everything" to be the standard programs and if not, you can ask.
No 👎 not everything. The MacBook 💻 only received updates until 2017
