Mousepad on laptop does not work since driver update?

So I updated all drivers for my sister's laptop with the Driver Booster Pro. But now the mouse pad is no longer working, the following error code is also shown below in the picture under Devices and Printers for the mouse pad. With a conventional mouse it is no problem.

Can you please explain how to uninstall this driver? And I don't find any drivers from the manufacturer's side. Is from Synaptics.

Would also recommend uninstalling the driver. The touchpad doesn't have to be from Synaptics (even if most of them are). Please steer clear of programs like this "Driver Booster", which often break more than they fix. And depending on the situation, they sometimes pull malware that you want less.

You go to the manufacturer's website of your lappie, look for the appropriate driver using the model and download it to your lappi at a location you are familiar with. Then go to the system settings and uninstall the driver of the affected device. When the old driver is gone, the new one will be installed. Maybe you have to restart the computer

Synaptics itself no longer offers drivers on its website for the Dl. Here you unfortunately have to go through the manufacturer of the device. You really never have to update the touchpad driver anyway… Unless there are really problems.

How you look at me you have Win10. In the settings go to "Apps & Features", there you will see the Synaptics driver somewhere. Select the, then it offers you "uninstall". The rest should be self-explanatory.
