I have a laptop with the operating system Windows 10. Today I downloaded a file where a ransomware (I do not know what that is) is hidden. I then started the reset to a 2-day system restore point. It will be displayed for one hour "Registration will be restored". How long will that take and did I react correctly?
Theoretically, you responded correctly. And yes, it can take a while, if you have no SSHD or SSD, for example, otherwise all files have to be rewritten and so, that will take♂️
