Windows xp help, restore defaults?

I wanted to play a game that only works on my old laptop with the xp operating system. Because it was so slow, I wanted to reset it somehow. Now I clicked restore defaults and did this. Since then, the laptop has started up to the logo with XP (at the store) and briefly goes black and then the whole thing happens again. What did I do wrong? How do I save it? Unfortunately I don't have a CD with an operating system.

Try to get into the BIOS, there you will have to make some settings.
e.g. Time, date, hard drive information and much more.

Go to Ignore Changes and Exit with arrow keys on the keyboard, then press Enter. Maybe this helps.

Oh bios is that further to the right? Then there's a name called boat.
