We still have this old laptop with Windows XP. He hasn't been touched in years, now nobody knows the password and there was probably no "forgot password" function.
Is there a way to continue without a password?

So log in with the (hopefully no password) admin account, then change the password there or create a new user account.
Here are a few options.

Since it is a Windows XP Home Edition, it could work to start the part in safe mode and log in as administrator without a password.

If physical access then through the method via Utilman.exe
Or just reinstall. You can tap data beforehand.
