Hi got an Ideapad 5 15 with 4500u in the summer the laptop hasn't been moved for 2 weeks now it is buzzing so the reason is not a deformation I would say it is due to the fan, it rotates faster, it starts to vibrate and buzzes because I still guarantee it I don't want to unscrew the laptop how do I clean the fan anyway?
With all that stuff? I would send the device to the dealer / manufacturer. There's definitely something wrong there.
Hm do you know how to handle that since I'm in the home office?
I would also like to keep my data. How can you do that without losing the win 10 license and without expanding the ssd.
Hm my father thinks it's normal, but I've never had anything like that within six months, I think it's defensively not normal… How should I explain that to him?
I guess the halo is related to the display. That alone should be reason enough to take the device to the dealer → incipient display damage. If the same has to be changed outside of the guarantee, it can be that a new device comes cheaper (unless you are well versed and can do it yourself).
I have only seen the atrium so far when restarting, but always in the same place
Where exactly on the right is the atrium? Rather middle height? Since this is only visible when restarting (and probably also when switching on) that will be the display lighting, I guess. If this is also visible on a bright display, it is not so good.
And the humming could well be / become a bearing damage. And with laptops, a fan can't simply be replaced like a PC.
No, unfortunately, I didn't even pick up a black reference image and hang a cloth over it to take pictures, but I don't know if I was lucky with the light halos because it's not as bad as others. On the hp monitor also ips I have zero backlight bleeding. Maybe you can see that in my new question? I uploaded a picture
Pets in the house? There must be such small fan slots somewhere (no, not on the animal, but on the laptop), because a full bottle with the vacuum cleaner nozzle on it and everything nice and clean, is that humming still there?
Thanks first of all. No, a vacuum cleaner has no place on the fan (unless the fan is held in place) with me the fan slot is pretty unusual anyway. Air is in at the bottom and out of the hinge at the top.
Thanks anyway and the laptop was off for an hour and now the problem is no longer there
