I have what I think is a very good gaming laptop (ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 Series).
It also works fine, only recently I've had the problem that my laptop makes terribly loud noises when it starts up.
It is really buzzing, but it's not the CD / DVD drive because it doesn't have one. (Hope you know what I mean, I don't even really know what to call it if there's another technical term for it.)
I don't have any other problems with the laptop either, everything works perfectly. Since I have no idea about technology, I wanted to ask here.
I really don't want to take my laptop for repair because I have private pictures & videos on my laptop and the risk is too great that things will be deleted / lost. (I don't want anyone else to see her either).
I know I could upload the pictures & videos somewhere, but to be honest the effort is too much for me. If there's no other way I will of course do it anyway, but I hope there's another solution or everything is just fine…
Probably defective fan bearings or dirt on the fan creating an imbalance.
Many Thanks! Is there a way to clean it yourself? Google also what you have to do there but also want to ask here 😅
Well, apart from the fact that you could open the laptop, the vacuum cleaner would still be on the air inlet and outlet openings.
However, this is not entirely without risk, as the fans, set in rotation by the suction, generate electricity that could damage the device.
If dismantling the device is too much for you (with some devices this is very easy, with others quite extensive), I would let a professional run it.
And as I said, it could still be a defective bearing.
