How do I start writing?

I wanted to start writing a book or something like that haha. Unfortunately I have no idea where to start. In advance I do not want to write on Wattpad because I do not like the site so much and prefer to write for myself and eventually send a publisher. I have an "Android"? Laptop so no Apple haha and would like to know which free program I can take to write. How do I start a story at all? And maybe a few writers could tell me how they are inspired.

Although I'm not a real writer but just an inexperienced girl who likes to sit around and make up stories, I will now add my mustard here ^^ "

So as far as it starts: of course you can think of a small framework, a kind of guide so that you know which actions come one after the other. But if you have no idea what you want to write, I would advise you to just start. As a warning: it is really incredibly frustrating. You will probably think that it is infinitely bad. But hey, you write yes for yourself, not for others. You can also write the worst story ever.

Well, the easiest way to start a conversation. It's best to take any two characters doing something. Let them talk a little bit, and little by little you will see an idea crystallize. Anyway, that's always the case with me. If you have no idea at all, you could try some fan fiction.

As soon as you have your basic framework, you can proceed completely differently. Write individual dialogues and scenes that then merge or copy the book from front to back. It is only important that you write. And only after you've written a few pages do you read it through again. Because writing means above all correcting and revising…

But I think the most important thing is: don't stop, don't give up. A piece every day, then it works. Even if it becomes the worst story in the world.

Thank you, that really helped me. I'm very young and therefore completely inexperienced

That makes two of us. I'm 14 ^^ "

It's cool that you write stories! So I have been writing a Gandgescgrieben series for 2 years, which will soon begin at chapter 100 (but I'm not a writer, but still a child). So it means: Above all, don't give up!

Sometimes it is best if something happens in your everyday life and you then transform it into a cool thing in your imagination (it works more if it becomes a fantasy magic story… But maybe also for a crime novel… I just write about a ghost family.

If you don't write stories that long, the story doesn't have to have a hundred scenes, people, secrets… Of course that's your decision. Or you listen to a certain type of music, which sometimes brings flashes of the spirit.

Or, you start like this: if it is a crime thriller, then you think about who the culprit is and what he does and why. Then you select the place (s) where the crime thriller happens and you have the basic structure!

Or with a love story, you think about what who wants, why and so.

Yes, as soon as I "worked out" my spark of the idea.
