So I'm (even quite satisfied) a new user of Windows 10, recently Windows 7. I installed Office XP on my laptop and I use Outlook 2002. If you click on the contact on the right, it says that you can make calls. But for that I need a modem according to Outlook, or I have to install a phone (?). My laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad T450) has a SIM slot, but 1.) it took me ages to open it. 2.) Then he did not recognize the SIM card.
When I selected "Phone and Modem" in the control panel and looked around a little, it said that I could somehow install drivers for a standard Bluetooth modem. Logically, my laptop, like my cell phone, has Bluetooth functions. Can I somehow connect my cell phone to my laptop via Bluetooth and then make calls? Would be really practical, because I only work with my laptop and then I could still work on the side.
At the moment I also like to use the "Microsoft Teams" app, which works smoothly, but it would be an advantage to get this call function up and running.
1.) Can my wish be fulfilled at all?
2.) If yes, how?
Since I now have no idea for 1. Will not be fulfilled. At least the whole telephony will probably not work. I don't know teams now, but as far as I know I should gradually replace Skype, among other things. So what speaks for IP telephony. And to take a phone as a "headset"… Wouldn't know how that should work.
Okay thanks!
With pleasure.
