Laptop battery discharges switched off?

I have a problem with my laptop.

The battery discharges automatically. I have a Lenovo e14 gen2, relatively new. First of all, I have set a charging threshold at 65-70% and I have deactivated the quick start. In addition, I only use the laptop with a power plug, which means that I connect the power plug before I turn it on.

Now I have the problem that I recently charged it to 70% (with the charging threshold and power plug still connected). 2 days later I switched it on again, also connected it to the electricity beforehand, when it was only 69%. The next day 68% and a little later 67%. I also have the assumption that it continues to discharge when I'm not using it (has also happened before).

Do you have any ideas what it could be?

Self-discharge of the battery is normal

The reaction can also take place on a smaller scale if the electrodes of the battery are not connected. This means that the battery's charge will gradually decrease over time. This phenomenon is called self-discharge.

However, as it sounds, this is a bit extreme in your case.

I would like to give you this guide by your hand:

Maybe something of that helps C

It is normal for the battery to lose charge even if you don't use it, but I don't know if it will go that fast. I once read on the internet whether others with the same model also have such problems. And if not, I would contact the dealer. It is possible, however, that the battery is rated as a wearing part and does not fall under the guarantee.
