LAPTOP NOT responding? - 1

I urgently need your help: I have an old Medion laptop.

I went to school yesterday and he switched himself off because he had no battery and I left it switched off because I no longer needed it.

Today I wanted to infect it and I noticed that this standby sign was on, which means that it must be on. But the battery symbol at the bottom left glowed red, which means that it has no more battery. This dvd hatch that only opens when it is on also opens I did NOT switch on the laptop, but the screen is black and can't be switched off.

Please help me because I don't have the money for a new laptop and it belongs to my mom.

It's over

First you take out the battery and remove the power cable. The battery is usually located on the underside of the device and can be unlocked with one or two slides.

This means that the device is completely dead.

Then put the battery back in and reconnect the power supply.

Then you just do nothing for an hour so that the battery can be recharged.

And then you can turn the laptop back on. In the hope that the battery is not obsolete and / or dead, battery operation should be possible again.

Otherwise, just use the power cord.

Hope I could help…

Charging works without expansion! When the laptop is on, it just takes longer to charge
