I would like to use my Imac (mid 2011) with Thunderbolt connection as a monitor for my Lenovo laptop with mini displayport. Can I use a "Thunderbolt-to-Thunderbolt" cable or a "MiniDisplayPort-to-MiniDisplayPort" for this?

. Or you have to buy an adapter because a "Thunderbolt-to-MiniDisplayPort" cable is not readily available.

My, techn. Not possible, only with Mac and it must not yet have a retina.
