Deepin Install USB won't boot?

I have a Lenovo notebook, but when I do a Deepin USB and then boot via the USB, the screen stays black. The USB works on other notebooks. Elementary OS, for example, also works

So in short that I understand correctly:

On the same laptop:

boots e.g. Elementary OS
Deepin does not boot

But on another laptop, the same USB stick with Deepin on it boots properly.

That's right?

Then my guess is that Deepin is missing a few drivers that Elementary provides by default on the live system. Why?

Deepin is based on Debian (stable) → older kernels
Elementary OS is based on Ubuntu → newer kernel

How new is the laptop?

Ai

I already suspected that. My notebook with Elementary is around 1 month old and the other one that Deepin runs on is 4 years old.

1 month young is also very new hardware. It is much better if the kernel is newer. Sometimes even openSUSE Tumbleweed or Manjaro is recommended so that the latest kernel is really available - depending on when the device was released.
