I downloaded Destiny 2 yesterday and started today… I immediately noticed that the game stutters despite the lowest graphics.
My laptop: Lenovo Legion Y520 GTX1050ti 4 GB, I7700HQ, 16 GB DDR4 Ram

4GB video ram is not enough and Destiny 2 is an online game
with what do you read di fps on Destiny 2?
The graphics card has 4GB of graphics memory, RAM is 16GB. It's quite a cannon, purely because of the specs.
As it is an always-online game to my knowledge, I would guess an internet problem. What about your download / upload rate and your ping? The hardware should easily suffice.
As far as I know I have a 100 k line, it only took 2 hours to download the 80 GB
