I recently got the Lenovo gaming notebook l340.
Today I had the drivers checked again with Lenovo vantage, they are all up to date according to this program.
As there was a full version of Driver max in the chip advent calendar (or was it PC Welt / Magazin? Don't know) I saved it.
After today's test run, the program now shows that I need to update the drivers.
Now what's wrong? Which program is right now? Should I update the drivers or not?
The following drivers are displayed for the update:
Intel 300 series chipset Family sata ahci controller
Realtek PCI gbe family controller
Realtek Bluetooth adapter
Nvidea high definition audio
Intel (r) smbus -a323
Intel (r) display audio
I look forward to your professional response thanks
The "Driver max" software only looks at the version number, but not at the relationship of the latest driver to the hardware.
For example: After updating with Driver Max of the WLAN driver WLAN, a laptop no longer worked correctly. According to ASUS, a current version is installed, but it is not optimized / suitable for the integrated WLAN chipset.
Therefore, you should only take the driver set that is offered on the manufacturer side of the laptop manufacturer.
This looks similar for external drivers (scanners, etc.), but is far from being as system-critical.
