Internet on the laptop slower than on the phone?
I have the following problem:
Recently we booked the Magenta Home L package at Telekom for 100 mbps
in the downstream and 40 mbps in the upstream. Everything is set up and works well, but I noticed the following thing: when I carry out a speed test with the mobiles or tablets in our household I always get at least 80 mbps in the downstream and about 25 - 30 in the upstream. However, when I run the test on our laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15 IKB with Win10) then I always get about 2 mbps down and about 14 upstream. How can that be? Have already installed various virus programs and reinstalled the wireless driver, but the problem still exists.
Do you have any suggested solutions? Thanks in advance!
Try it with another PC, possibly with a Linux that you boot from Stick. Is the connection cable OK?
By the way, it would have been nice to remove the advertisement.
You did the test over WLAN? What does it look like when you connect the laptop to the router via LAN cable?
Could be an update issue of Windows 10 on Lenovo laptops.
